Families & Communities Rising will be hosting their annual Family Fun Day event on Friday, May 10th, from 1-4:00 PM. Their goal is to provide meaningful and intentional resources to build and strengthen the community and foster unity. The event will include fun activities and access to community resources.

Developing A Household Food Budget Group Session

Agent Demetria Cox-Thomas from Mecklenburg county is hosting a Versatile Pantry group session on June 22. In the curriculum, participants will learn strategies for tracking expenses and practice developing a budget. Participants will develop a food budget using the Thrifty Food Plan.
